Centrally located in the alpine village of Vallouise, L'Acacia is a self-contained apartment that sleeps up to 6 people and is located on the ground floor of a large alpine chalet only a few minutes' walk from the centre of Vallouise.

The apartment is all on one level, and comprises one double bedroom, one triple bedroom with 2 bunk beds and a single bed, a sitting/dining area with double sofa bed, TV and CD player, an all-inclusive Kitchen and bathroom, and French windows onto a terrace and large garden with barbecue.

There is ample storage for bikes and outdoor gear in summer and skis or ice gear in winter. The kitchen is fully equipped with a standard size oven, a 4-ring electric hob, a fridge, dishwasher, coffeemaker and kettle, plus all the usual kitchen utensils.

The apartment is situated in the heart of the Ecrins Massif, France's first national park covering a huge area 30 times larger than the Chamonix Valley.

In Summer you have a large garden with swings, a trampoline and a barbecue for great family or group evenings. Plus you can walk or mountain bike from the doorstep. As well as fantastic rock climbing and Via Ferrata all within a 5 minute drive.

In Winter there is XC skiing and snowshoeing from the doorstep and you are only 10 minutes drive away from the award-winning family ski resort of Puy-St-Vincent and just 5 minutes drive from Pelvoux ski station. If you don't want to drive there is a bus service that goes from the doorstep to the ski resorts of Puy-St-Vincent and Pelvoux, as well as L'Argentiere, our nearest local town. And if have children an easy 10 minutes walk will take you to a large open hillside ideal for sledging and making snowman. And of course there is always igloo building in the garden!
