AlpBase is situated in Vallouise, in the
centre of Les Ecrins National Park, one of the few alpine
areas that has always controlled its tourism. As well as substantially
better weather – a guaranteed 300 days of sunshine every
year - this area is definitely a lot less commercialised than
Chamonix and offers an amazing choice of activities. In addition
to skiing, snowboarding, hiking, climbing and mountain biking,
