Record snow conditions!

Pelvoux ski station has a brand new 4 man lift this winter, which whisks you up to the top of the mountain at speed and in confort. Pelvoux is a small station 5 mins from Vallouise. it offers uncrowded, inexpensive, well groomed pistes in a traditional village. We always go there in high season to avoid the crowds.

On Tuesday in Puy Saint Vincent, the ISMF and the event organisers presented the next edition of the Ski Mountaineering World Championships due to take place from 9 -15 February 2013 in Pelvoux, France.

Snowed all day yesterday. Today we woke up to -7 clear blue skies and a fantastic winter wonderland.

The temperature is dropping, and heavy snow forcast for Wednesday 7th December. Will keep you informed!

Tuesday 25 Oct 2011. Woke up this morning to 20cm snow, and still snowing! Winter has arrived, and what a great start, so you can now book your Winter holiday with confidence.

Sunday 23 Oct 2011. Jerry and I nipped out for a walk to Pelvoux. It was just STUNNING. The colours and magnificent deep blue sky were just amazing. After 8 years we still cant believe our luck on finding Vallouise!
